°Õ³ó±ðÌýMarlborough School in Woodstock has been told it âcould be judged Outstandingâ following an inspection by Ofsted.
Inspectors described the school as âa caring communityâ where âpupils and staff share a mutual understanding of the importance of educationâ.
They added: âOpportunities abound throughout the school. Pupils are proud to take on responsibility and they are keen to make a positive impact both in school and within the community.
âLeaders support teachers in utilising teaching strategies that help pupils achieve highly, including those with SEND.
âPupils are consistently engaged in their learning and are exceptionally considerate towards each otherâs education.
âStaff at all levels are committed to and proud of the school.â
°Õ³ó±ðÌýMarlboroughÂ School headteacher Andrew Hanlon said: âWe are proud of our young people and of the school and community that we are all part of.
âAlthough we are delighted that our commitment to excellence and perseverance have been recognised in this way, this report only makes us more determined to make our school the very best place for all our children to flourish and thrive.
âWe will continue to do all we can to make this happen.â
